would a 6 disc changer fit in theshelf bit in the glove box of a classic shape impreza?

Why not fit your changer under on of your fronts seats?? Thats where mine is (10 disc Kenwood) and Ive never had any problems with it whatsoever.

The space inside the classics glove box is fairly limited and the changer would have to be fairly small, the smallest 6 disc changer I have seen was a Clarion, and it still ended up under the drivers seat!!!

Nope - never had any troubles with mine.

 

Have you thought about one of the Giga mp3 players that are starting to come out?
Single din that can play mp3 from a dvd
