Ported or sealed?
I have decided on the Sub but now I am confronted with which type of box to get.
Rockford Fosgate recommend either a 1.25cu/ft Ported or a 0.85cu/ft sealed box for this particular sub. I have always had ported boxes in the past, is there any real difference in performance/sound if the box is ported or not?

A ported sub will sound more instantly impressive, but is not as well controlled and accurate as a sealed.
Also a ported can boost output slightly too.
How much power are you putting through the sub?

1.25 cubic/ft for the ported.
