I have a MY03 STI with Tweeters in the door handles. I am replacing them with some Kappa's. Where is the best place to mount them for the best sound stage. I would have thought on the top of the dash under the windscreen angled up and toed in slightly to the centre. I am sure you guys must have experimented.

 

Hey guys have none of you experimented with tweeter positioning or do you not want to pass on your valued knowledge.
I am having my Infinity Kappa components fitted on Monday and would like some advice on whether to use the existing tweeter positions in the door handles or mount them on the dash.

 

hi mate,
had mine fitted into the kick panels that way the tweeters are not directed straight at your ears and sounded a lot better than door positions.
