I am thinking of changing the std stereo in my 02 sti and am stuck between the Blaupunkt or Alpine brands, can anyone help me out on this.
I have seen the Blaupunkt ( LA ) I think in an 02 scoob and it looks good but I quite fancy an Alpine unit ( top-ish ) of range, maybe with a screen.

I am looking for it to have MP3 and motorised front panel and face off ( I do not want to cut the dash ).

Can't comment on the other two, but I have the kenwood KDC-PSW9524, and it's very, very, very good IMHO. 365 quid if you shop around.

Nothing like a nice, balanced, well argued view

Yes it is an LA MP72 you've seen. IIRC, there is somewhere heading into London where you could compare that head to head against an Alpine; highly recommended to try the things out as it is what you like that counts.

If you don't want to cut the dash, bring it over and I'll get the angle grinder out!
