Is it worth replacing a regular blanket with a cooling one? I've been thinking about buying a cooling blanket because it's just impossible to sleep in the summer. But I'm not sure if they actually work or if it's just marketing. Has anyone really felt the difference? Or is it a "one-season" thing and not worth the investment?

I bought a cooling blanket - and at first I thought it was a waste of money. But then I noticed that I stopped throwing it off at night. It's not icy, but more of a "neutral cool" feeling. I guess if you sweat a lot, it's an option.

We've had SHEEX cooling comforters in our house as of late, and I've finally stopped waking up in a sweat. I have a blanket, it's thin but keeps me pleasantly cool. The main thing is that its fabric doesn't heat up from your body. Even in the summer, you can sleep under it without air conditioning. My wife laughed at first, but now she fights me for it at night.
