I think it’s important to keep an eye on the overall condition of the car and make sure there aren’t any dents or scratches where the paint came off and basically opened a direct path for rust. In my case, it’s especially important since I mostly drive off-road and deal with frequent chips, scratches, dents. I partially solved the problem with an aftermarket bumper
