Our current project is a fantasy RPG with a strong emphasis on character design and world-building, but we’ve hit a creative bottleneck. We have plenty of ideas and concepts, yet turning them into high-quality 3D characters and detailed environments is taking longer than expected. The pressure to meet deadlines is growing, and we don’t want to compromise on visual quality.

I’ve seen this happen many times in game studios, especially when projects grow in scope. What helped us was bringing in experienced external artists who could support our vision. We started collaborating with specialists through devotedfusion which gave us access to professional game artists skilled in character creation, 3D modeling, and asset production. They worked closely with our designers and helped us speed up development without losing artistic consistency.

That sounds ideal. Having access to skilled artists who understand both creativity and technical limitations can really change the pace of development. It also allows the core team to stay focused on design decisions instead of struggling with production overload.

There are already so many games now. A lot of good ones, and even more poorly made ones, unfortunately. At the same time, I get that you have to start somewhere, and you can create a game and keep improving it step by step. Or just make something simple and clear like online domino, just put a bit of effort into the website design so it looks nice. But making something bad and leaving it like that as a final version...
