It is important that there are amenities - water, electricity, Wi-Fi, security. Plus, I would like the atmosphere to be friendly, without unnecessary fuss. Because some marinas are just crowded and have no service. It would be great if there were some cafes nearby or just a place to sit with the family after sailing. I am considering options for the whole summer, so I am interested in both the price and the conditions.

My family and I have been using the marina on Lake Travis for the second season now - we are very happy. I recommend you look at the website, it is Sandy Creek Yacht Club. It really has everything you need: covered slots of different sizes, water, electricity, Wi-Fi. We moored our boat in the yacht slip and it was comfortable - clean, safe and the staff was super friendly. Plus there was a fuel station and a store with small things like sunscreen, drinks, etc. The best thing is the atmosphere. Regular renters socialize with each other, there are events. There is even a shower and a closed area for members only.

Sandy Creek is the best! We ended up there by accident when we were just looking for a place to fill up. We were so warmly received that we decided to stay. Now I can't imagine where else you can find such comfort. It's convenient that everything is nearby: moor your boat, have bite to eat and just chat with others. Even in the summer there is no fuss there, although there are a lot of people. A very family atmosphere.
