Current running around 420 but have supporting mods for 500. It’s in the standard internals so don’t want to push it any harder. Have just bought a forged 2.1 cdb engine though so power will be going up closer to 470+ish once it is all fitted. Then I’ll be looking at selling the current engine and turbo. The car has only done 42k miles so the current engine is still very strong.

Hi bud looking good there.... yes them clips are quite difficult there’s abit of a technique to it but
can get dropped pretty easy...

i personally don’t have any spares as they stopped giving them out but,,,, there is a place in the Uk
that sells the ball joint ends with a set of clips I found off eBay I haven’t used them so you would have to
give it ago I think they should be fine though.

jdm ?? My spec c is running 403 could push it abit more but still on tmic
don’t really wanna go fmic and happy with the power levels for the time been
what turbo are you currently running to achieve that.... I’ve fitted a lm420 which
is a great turbo maybe go for something bigger if I was tracking the old girl but just road use

It's a UK car. I'm running an APS S/R 40 turbo at 1.5 bar to get 420. I'm told the turbo can boost to 2.3 bar though! The only problem is that it's a bit laggy because of its size.
When I put the new engine in I will be swapping for an MD321T that has some nice little upgrades from Lateral. It should spool up much faster than the S/R 40.
I'm not really chasing numbers, just want a fast road car. So the 2.1 should provide the extra torque and with the turbo spooling up much quicker it should have good mid-range, I may even need to turn the power down a bit! lol!
If you wanted more power, I think it is possible on an uprated top mount with the right setup; although I am no expert. I've heard good things about the LM turbos, more power with hardly any lag. I've never liked pushing the engine to the limiter, so that's why I wanted the faster spool up of the MD.

I never did fit mine to my hawk before selling it but wondering if they would work on a levorg? Same front end as a 2018 wrx I belive.

I plan to have a carbon bonnet fitted at a later date, do you think they would be too stiff for the carbon?

Thanks

On my MY11 WRXSTI saloon (steel bonnet) I had to change the bonnet struts for the Spec C versions (alloy bonnet) when I fitted the seibon CF bonnet.
The originals were far toooo strong
