My 2002 bug eye gx fuel gauge does not seen to be working.
It is stuck at 3/4 full but the empty light still comes on when getting low.
I get the feeling its had an aftermarket one in the past as it looks like its had an a pillar pod on it so as it can't be a boost gauge I thought it might have been for an aftermarket one that's been took out. I was unsure if this would make it stick or read at empty.
Unsure if its had wrx gauges as everything else on it is wrx style like the seats, steering wheel etc but I don't know the difference.

Any ideas?

it could be the sender unit in the tank that's stuck mate you would have to pull it out the tank and test it
