also its not just the adaptor plate you need you also need a length of pipe that goes from the dv to the inlet.

Jake - cheers matey , hope to see good results from yours on wednesday

Tubby - thats correct you need a short piece of silicon hose to connect the 2, when i make mine, i machine the adaptor pipe 29mm diameter,so a piece of 30mm bore pipe fits nicely

its the standard newage hdi intercooler set up, they don't hang low enough to catch unless you drive either side of one of those silly half speed bumps.

I run coilovers too, but the splitter is lower than the pipe.

its a pain in the *** to fit though and the hdi isn't one of the easiest to install due to having to cut part of the bumper bar out with an angle grinder.

other intercoolers come with replacement bumper bars so its a bolt on job, the hdi isnt

I have a fmic and mapped my car to run without a dump valve, the sound you get from the turbo stall (some ppl call it waste gate chatter - it isn't), sounds awesome!

I've got a TD05 18G, some tubbys cant manage to run without a dump valve so its also depending on which tubby you have.
