UK Turbo's don't have versions!

It's a phase 2 engine, open deck block IIRC.

A phase 1 has the smaller 330 grey injectors not the yellow 440s like your car will have. The coils are also in a different location :S . Any engine can be made to fit, a phase 1 engine or a phase 1.5 won't be a straight forward fit, the wiring loom and ecu are different too. Why are you changing your engine? I would suggest fitting a jdm engine, (they have different inlets, different cam set ups) so overall it would be a stronger engine if its backed with service history.
