Default Which tools for springs

Looking to change my springs in the next few weeks on my 2005 sti.
What tools are required to do the job. Size of sockets and spanners etc. even a how to guide would be nice.
I posted this in suspension section too if any one notices.
Thanks

You need some basic sockets, 12mm for the top of the strut and 19mm for the two big bolts at the bottom (IIRC), a breaker bar or long torque wrench will be useful for the bottom bolts as will lots of penerating fluid. A hammer and a screwdriver can be used to remove the clip that holds the brke hose to the strut. With the three top nuts undone and the two bottom bolts off the strut should pull off, if you're struggling then disconect the droplink from the anit roll bar to give more play in the linkages. Use spring compressors to take the force off the strut top hat them use a 17mm pass-through socket (votex socket) and a 6mm allen key to take the nut off the top and free the top hat.

install in the reverse order!
