Default Anyone heard about Turbonetics Turbo T3/4 Ball Bearing turbo?

Hi all,

I was considering to buy this turbo for my JDM STI 03 to get it to the 430bhp mark on stock internals and supporting mods because I have heard that this turbo is capable of 450bhp with supporting mods (correct me if I am wrong).

I live overseas and cant get my hands on the SC42 turbo etc that are the norm on this forum so was wondering how these compare with the 450bhp turbos like SC42. I live in New Zealand if that helps.

I was thinking to upgrade to the billet compressor wheel.

Would love any feedback regarding the brand or the turbo.

Yeah they could but it would more than 4k including the turbo and shipping. For that I could get a genuine rotated gtx30R with the rotated kit. Plus customs will seize the parcel.

I would contact Turbo Dynamics here in UK, they make the MD range of turbo's which are marketed through Lateral Performance here but I'm fairly certain they have connections with Turbonetics and would be able to give you accurate answers to your questions.

Hi Adam here from Scoobyclinic is the 4k down to your exchange rate and taxes? It just sounds an awful lot of money when we sell the SC46 460bhp units for £1620inc vat
