if i have a live from the battery going to a relay will it drain power from my battery cheers mike

 

Not if the relay isnt switched. Whats this relay for? What are you aiming to acheive?

 

It's because you use a racing battery Mike, they aren't designed to keep a charge like a normal wet cell battery.
Buy yourself an automatic trickle charger and leave it on all the time, or buy a proper battery for when you can't be bothered with the faff !
