Default Which Gauges?

Hi Guys

I would like to fit a pod into my 05 Blob WRX any recommendations on which route to take and which to avoid.

What Gauges would be the best purchase and is it actually worth doing?

Thanks for your answers in advance

Previous threads I've read seem to have the general opinions that gauges are good because you can see whats going on with things that without them you wouldn't be able to see. I myself are going for the prosprort gauge package from scoobyworld with the defi pod .

Defi's, they're pricey compared to some others but worth it and yes, as above. If you ever have a problem, the guages will give you MUCH earlier warning signs and could potentially save you a huge repair bill.

Most people go for boost (because you can see what the engine is doing), oil pressure (because it gives a better display of the health of the engine and oil than the cr@ppy warning light), and oil temperature (because it's more important than WATER temperature in showing you if the car is up to working temperature, or above).

defis are great but expensive

prosport are the next best thing. but you need to get the prosport stepper series with peak warnings (silver bezel on the gauge) or you can buy normal ones but no peak setting

plenty of other ones around, shadow gauges, apexi, to name a few.

Do a few searches, follow the gauge instructions, DO NOT use sandwich plates in any form, and you'll be fine
