engine bay wiring loom,,,,,, help what goes where ?

its a v3 sti loom, oh when i took out the loom i had to cut a wire that was rather terrible soldered on to the passenger side look connector, anyone seen this before ?
the loom used to have the black spiral stuff with insulation tape on it and looked terrible so i recovered it in self amalgamating tape to tidy it up a bit

You know I introduced eurocarparts to that site when I worked there and totally forgot about it,,,,, which is bad as I work at a main dealer as a partsman
