Default GODSPEED BRAKES.

HI ALL,
Called down to godspeed today, in the hope they could help me with my ksport rear handbrake issue,s.
once there meet up with IAN and BEN,
Both Top Blokes,
they put me at ease that they can sort my problems out no worries, i came from there feeling a lot happier than arriving, got to pick um back up on fri, Ian said he would do them for tomorro, but due to work i cant get there till fri, super fast workmanship i must add,
while there, Ian was telling me he is doing the Wyedean rally on weekend .
BEST OF LUCK FOR WYDEAN RALLY IAN,
HOPE more of you scooby owners will use these people,

cheers scoobymike.

Top man is Ian, I have spent not a penny with him, but I bought a secondhand 335mm big brake kit secondhand and was given all the help I could ask for regarding fitment.

Not bad, and I guess that is why he is #1 on here.

Gush, moi?!

Hi Mike
Good to meet you , and glad we can help you by modifying our handbrake inserts to fit into your rear K sport bells , they are quite worn , and left as they were would have eventually worn right through them.
It will cure this problem fitting our inserts into them.
See you friday when you come back to collect them
Cheers Ian

All done ready for you , thought i'd put up some pics as you can't be the only one suffering with this

Before

After with our steel inserts fitted

I have had to machine a slight recess on the front of the bell as the head of the bolt is where the bell shape starts curving around so the bolt head didn't sit on the flat

The discs are bolted back onto the bells now and are ready to fit , and with the standard handbrake shoes will now work a treat

Come up when ever your ready to collect them

Cheers Ian

Interesting bit of kit: I was about to ask how the inserts were held in place, then scrolled down, so avoided looking a numb-nuts

And I would probably have believed it at first, then thought about it and asked again tomorrow

So are these separate bells for the rears too now?

They are K sport bells for the K sport rear 6 pot brake kit , the handbrake shoes have been rubbing on the alloy bells and worn them half away , another few thousand miles running as they were , and the handbrake part of the bell would have worn completely away.

I have modified the inserts we fit into the brembo rear discs for the classic , that does away for the need of thicker handbrake shoes , and made them fit inside these K sport bells , so the handbrake should work and last forever now .
