icv is likely..I had that on my classic a while back, changing the plugs and cleaning the icv sorted most of it.

Could be engine mounts too?

Ok thanks guys, I will get the ICV checked out tomorrow. As I am quite new to scoobys, is it something I can do myself? Also, where is the ICV located?
Many thanks

Something else you might want to check is the maf.

check the simple things 1st. I just got a meatier exhaust and it "wobbles" the car more than the old one. Maybe an exhaust rubber broken ?

Take a walk round the car while its idleing , might be something loose rather than the way the engine is running !

When mine used to wobble it was like the car was about to stall and that was down to the maf. But as mentioned the exhaust is something else to check.

Any chance of more description mate as the guys who have replied including myself were thinking completely different things.
