subaru impreza wrx 2005 viscous diff HELP
hi i have just bought a subaru impreza 2005 42000 miles very clean example but am pretty much new to subarus so just a quick question to clear up my doubts
everytime i set off at lights or slow down to lights or turn whilst parking i can feel notchyness or a clunk just wondered if this was the viscous diff or driveshafts ?????
is this normal
doesnt do it at any other time at all
please help

I've got the same problem on my 04 wrx wagon, seems to come
from drivers side rear on mine.
I had a new center diff fitted in january, which i hoped would cure it,
but it's still doing it !
Going back to specialist next week to try & get it sorted.

Mate I know wot the problem is its the rear struts/shock absorbers apparently a common fault they loose there grease and start to stick gradually getting worse
