Subaru forester XT
Hi,
I am just starting to do logs with Romraider and everyone says that the OEM
wideband air/fuel ratio sensor cannot be relied upon when on boost.
Can this sensor be relocated to the downpipe and if so would it be accurate enough for mapping?

Hi!
You actually already have a second af sensor in the downpipe. The ecu gets data from both sensors and then does its magic.
The problem with the stock sensor is not with the sensor itself, instead the problem lies with the cap at approx afr 11.2 that we can log.
If you decide to run leaner than 11.2 you could do ok with the stock sensors, but then the cost of a proper wbo2 setup is peanuts compared to a blown engine.
Cheers,
Patrick
