Default WRX STI Turbo Timer

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help us

We have a Subaru Impreza WRX STI 1999 jap import and currently in the process of installing a turbo timer ,

We have the harness but we need to know where the 3 wires go from the brain

Grey
Brown
Blue

can someone please help us

What car is it going onto & where did you buy the harness from?

Its going on to a GC8F4ED model V5 WRX STI 1999

Engine code EJ20

cheers , We know the sequence as its in the instructions but where abouts are the wires located in the car to connect them all too?

As above but thats only if you want the turbo timer to display speed, rev & warnings etc.

We would like to display speed well i do lol ( im hopeless with kph women drivers !! )

As its being installed might as well install it properly we did have the option of the type 0 timer but as the type 1 displayed speed we chose that one

handbrake wire from handbrake or rear of dash,
rpm on ecu or rear of dash,
speedo on ecu 0r rear of dash.

cant remember colours.

You really don't need one fitting, 1 minute of gentle driving does the same thing, of your car is still in kmh then your better off spending the money getting it converted and checked to see what else needs doing properly

ecu is under footwell on passenger side, under metal plate.
better to remove drivers side under dash for fitting the loom.
