Megarom map
I currently own a my05 jdm sti that has a straight through centre pipe, genome backbox, 3 port boost solenoid and an open ecu uk fuel remap. I am contemplating having a sportcat downpipe and possibly a forge actuator fitted with blue spring. I have 2 options either get my Map tweaked or go the whole hog and have megarom fitted, is it more expensive than a normal ecutek and in reality is it worth it with the mods I have, any advice appreciated.
I was looking at keeping a 2.5 exhaust as I don't want to lose my genome as I love it, would the expense of the above be noticeable as if it didn't make much difference I would be really disappointed.

I dont charge extra for megarom.
In gear boost control works well and being able to have two maps is an advantage.
I wouldnt expect to lose anything on that exhaust no. Have seen 360bhp on one on standard turbo etc

Are the mods listed right for next stage, as I have heard people mention the STD actuator is a bit weak, I have also read posts about the forge actuator and blue spring, on the megarom could one map be more responsive than the other so the other map is ideal for long runs and when people not used to the car drive it, such as when testing brakes on mot
RaceROM is DBW.
If your current actuator is working as it should, leave it.
The best bang for your buck on these specific cars are exhaust, panel filter, 3port (although not really needed imo), plugs and a proper MegaROM remap. You're always going to be ultimately limited by the small VF36/37, but these cars are all about spool and mid range grunt.
If you have a cat bin it or fit a sports cat.
Around 340bhp is the norm at this level of tune, although I have seen mid to high 350's on some cars.

Jdm is 2litre non dbw
Seen mixed results on actuator change.
Did one yesterday that I felt it didnt gain anything, mapped previously on original actuator and now on a forge
