but in my defence m8, mark at tdr has done such a fantastic job with the remap the dam thing doesnt tail off, so it just keeps pulling till the redline

er.... just a thought - dont F1 cars have them ??? perhaps you should pop a line to them to suggest the likes of hamilton button and co. dont need them as well... just a thought m8.

hum, not wanting to get into an argument about such a silly matter, and not wanting to get too **** with this, but if i can just add, anybody who understands highly tuned f1 engines will know that the actual rev range of such a car is between 12k and 18K (only hit 19 during quali) below 10K the engine is useless. as a result the actual working rev range is only 6000 rpm, oh which is the same as our cars, 1000 to 7000 rpm, wow how wierd is that!
so that kinda makes your statement a load of Bo*****s doesnt it.
quick scenario, on a private road - flat out round a bend with trees on one side and armco on the other, my car will happily rev to the limiter (due to its 400bhp and the fantastic job done by mark @ TDR), and because it sounds so sweet you cant tell its in the red, so do i look at the rev limiter...... er no f****n thanks, or do i wait for a beep... hum, let me think????
anyway ive had enough of this futile discussion, so im off to bed, need my sleep my pals getting wed 2morrow the fool!!!!!!
