Default What diagnostic tool cable?

As above for a 95 wrx.
A friend has the tool I just need the cable to plug it in, also will it show more in-depth faults than the cel light?

Erm dunno.
I will find out later, I know he used it to find a fault on his mondeo.
From what I understand it gives live feeds from sensors and the likes if the car has the ability to send them.

That will be a OBDI/II reader. You require a SSM (Subaru Select Monitor) as Subaru do not support OBD before MY96.
