Default Sh*t, help please removing rear disc.

Subaru Impreza Classic Turbo 2000 MY2000

I'm trying to remove my rear disc and it won't budge, it comes loose and wobbles and shakes but it won't pull off.
It seems as if the shoes are stuck in the disc hand brake assembly, as a result so far various broken pieces of metal have fallen out and i have had to ride to work lol.

I'm not bothered about the hand brake internals falling apart, i just want the disc off, then i'll remove the hand brake for now.

I've taken the wheel off, removed the caliper, removed the caliper mount and tried screwing in bolts to push the disc away from the hub. I've also tried a hammer and screw drivers as leverage.

Am i missing something? It seems to me as if the inner of the hand brake assembly within the disc has a lip and won't come over shoes.

Please help me I want my K-Sports on

Thanks

have you takin the handbrake off ?

sounds like the spring inside has broke which causes the shoes to push
out inside the hub stopping you gettting it off....

look on the inside bottom of the disc and handbrake shoe cover you will see a rubber grommet about an inch long remove it and look inside with a torch and you will see an adjuster for the handbrake shoes adjust the adjuster as far down as it will go and your disc will just near enough drop off
hope this helps baz

There is also a manual adjuster, it can be seen on the rear of the back plate. Get a screwdriver and wind it off.
