hey all, is it ok to run an ssqv with no insert in? are they just for looks/audio or do they serve asnother purpose?

Fine to run without - just for enhanced noise. Think the 'official' video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HblCEQXQ8Q4) shows the first example with it running without any insert
