UK BLOBEYE STI QUESTION...???
My mate has the above vehicle. It has a numerical keypad on the pull-down coin holder/fuse panel thing on the right side of the lower dash panel.
What does this do? He says he doesn't need to use it i.e. the car starts without punching in any code, etc...

It is an over-ride for the alarm should he ever lose his remotes. My previous sigma alarm had one too. He should have a 4 digit code for it

Should have the four digit code. You can change it but I think you need to know it to change it. Instructions in manual. You can also use the pad to superlock the car which I do if away for a while. Basically the remote then won't work and you have to open door with key in the lock, alarm then sounds until you punch in code.

I too have a blob STi - but no pad... did all of them have it?
That said I have an aftermarket alarm so that may have something to do with it.
-EDIT-
Actually, ignore that I've got a bug
*doh* reading too quick

I was told it activates the Super Persuit mode if you type 9004 and press the hash button - try it and let us know

It is a standard feature on most Sigma alarms, but only UK cars will have it the drop down panel unless there is space for an aftermarket keypad to be fitted in imports

Ah I'm with yer.
I took it literally and thought there was some scene/morality tale that I'd missed, about, specifically, alarm/immobiliser keypads!!! LOL
