Default Is a remap needed?

Fist of all the car is my03 wrx vf35 sti intercooler etc I have been having boost issues and have narrowed these down to the boost control solenoid and would like to know if I can just swap this out without doing any more mapping any advice welcome thanks

If you swap it for the same type e.g. a 2-port for a 2-port... 3-port for a 3-port, etc, then yes, no remap needed.

If going from a 2 to a 3, or a 3 to a 2, etc, remap required...

Can you tell us how you have narrowed the explanation for this problem down to the solenoid?
