Information from Vin plate
Right trying to find as much info for my car, as I have none, other than it being an import and manufactured roughly 1995.
What does the codes on my Vin plate mean, as I have no clue.
My Vin plate is here, all I`ve done is hide the cars Vin number.

Paint code http://www.drmotorsport.co.uk/Subaru...nt%20Codes.htm
Vin number Sep.95-Aug.96 MY96 GC8C48D 260 WRX 4 door
Engine type is an EJ20G, and transmission is a TY752
You have paint splash on your plate, could have been a bad repair or the likes, is there any difference in the paint etc or does there seem to be any issues with bodywork? the vin plate should be clear of paint etc.

She will be having a respray, and sorting the colour out so shes back to one colour, and sorted once and for all as at the moment it looks like a sunshine bus has stopped and let the passengers loose with a set of crayons!!!

EJ20 is the engine type, ie 2ltr, you get an EJ22 which is a 2.2ltr and an EJ25 which is a 2.5ltr (just on the turbocharged cars).
TY752 is the transmission code, notably not the strongest box out there, these were upgraded to TY754's on the MY99 cars.
