FORGED PISTONS
Hey guys, i got a my99 wrx with forged internals. There seems to be one problem thats really pissing me off. My oil seems to be disappearing somehow, somewhere. Every 200kms, the engine seems to be running on dry. I have to top up oil every week. There isnt any leaks anywhere. Some friends where saying it might be got to do with the forged internals.
I have been reading many posts on here about forged pistons...and seems like the pisting slapping noise is seemed to be normal when the engine is cold. My pistons make a slapping noise reguardless wheather the engine is warm or cold.
I think i have a severe problem
Would anyone out there have any idea whats going on?

That is extremely excessive oil useage, you either have the wrong size pistons in there or whoever built the engine needs to strip it and rebuild it again.
