Hi,
Ive got an MOT tomorrow and was driving home today and rev counter engine temp. windows. heater all stopped working inside the car. The lights sterio wipers etc all still work fine and the car starts. Recently had new alarm installed, any ideas its a 1996 classic.

sounds like you have lost an ignition feed to the them, depending on how and where they have fitted the cuts to immob the car if they have cut the wrong feed and not soldere3d it correctly it may have broke, it could be a feed to a relay there are 3 on the drivers side up under the dash could be 1 of those, but check the plugs first right hand side of car above the little pocket by ya drivers knee, there are 3 about 2" long and 1 about an inch with 5 or 6 thicker wires in.
