Hi all can someone help me please. ive got a 1998 2lt impreza turbo what is the recommended oil for subs i have been to the motor factors they tell me 10w40 semi synthetic but then i see and have been told either 5w40,10w40 or 10w60 fully synthetic my car is fully standard and is used as a family car so no racing or track days hope someone can advise me. Thanks in advance

 

10w40 semi synth is what the book says, 10w60 is far too thick and not recommended.
