Hiya Sy.
I was in the same boat when I needed a pinout for my 98 uk classic, when I was trying to fit a bee*r rev limiter. I phoned a local scooby dealer and they hooked me up with the image group " I think that's what they're called "
Just ring them on 01217 474000 and ask for subaru technical. Just explain you need a pinout ecu diagram for your bus. They'll need your chassis number to find the correct diagram. I spoke to a dude called Phil, he took my e-mail address and the next day he mailed me the pinout as a pdf document, simple as that, and the best bit is it was free

Hope this helps mate

bit pointless fitting a lambda meter anyway as it'll only work properly on idle and cruise.
Wont tell you a sodding thing when you really need it too.

agree it is for novelty more than accuracy as it is part of a digital display
