If im looking for a decat downpipe, to fit as a direct replacement on a V2 Sti, do i need a 2.5" or 3" flange on the exaust side?

Even if the car has a different exhaust (un-known) but mates to the OEM downpipe.

Also do most/all have bosses for lambda and EGT sensors?
