scooby wont start

Default scooby wont start

hi all can anyone help ive just done an engine rebuild an ive just come to start it now the car started run for a min then i turned it off to do some checks everything seems sound but ive come to start it again an it goes to fire but just wont start can anyone help coz im racking my brains an its doing my head in thanks

Got the same problem

Check:
Fuel (quantity and pressure)
Spark (at plugs or on top of the engine at the square thing)
Battery condition
Cambelt fitted correctly with cams in correct positions?
Crankshaft position sensor working.

Connect the two black connectors near the steering column, switch ignition on and check engine light will indicate if a fault was detected. On, off, on, off at 1/2 second intervals means no fault.

hi mate something mad wrong with it coz i left it for about an hour an it started again then i turned it of again an it done the same thing turned over as if it was going to start but didnt i was woundering could there be an air lock in the fuel line
