Default Coil pack question

Hi guys, could anyone tell me what symptoms you get when your coil pack starts to break down/give up??

I have a V4 STi type r if that makes any difference?

Cheers.

I was on the way back from USC at the weekend and after around an hour of driving (not hard or fast because I was in a convoy) she started to feel abit "spluttery" on and off. It was generally around zero boost (on the gauge) when you are just doing a steady speed and then start to put your foot down a bit more (sorry hard to explain).

coil packs can play up anytime, but normally play up "on boost" or when the engine is hot.
