Default Phase 1 crank

hi,

was just wondering how much power the standard subaru phase 1 centre thrust crank can handle?

Not usually the crank which gives problems, its the con rods/big end bearings which fail and takes the poor old crank journals out.
Plenty of Version 1 ~ 3 Impreza's running 350/400 with the right steel rods and race spec bearings.

Flame suit on

350 would be a "safe" figure also dropping the rev limit with no more than 1.5 bar on a sutable turbo.
