Default Fuel Cut

Hi All,

Im trying to find a thread which i found but cannot find again...

It was about fuel cut, and the japs disconnecting the pipes from the thing thats connected to the drivers side strut base (93 classic import)

Just noticed that when the car was nice and warm, took it all the way up in 3rd and then shifted into 4th came on boost and it felt like a missfire (sudden stop)

Going by what i have read on here it seems like the fuel cut had been reached?

How would i go about stopping this?

Cheers

James

The bottom hose coming of the boost solenoid should have a restrictor in it.
What ecu are do you have as i used to get it quite a lot with the standard ecu, i cheated and got a later model ecu that had a better fuel map to sort it.

Initialy, i would remove the bottom hose of the (thing thats connected to the drivers side strut base) Boost Control Solenoid to airbox resonator and ensure it was clear and give it a clean, brake/clutch cleaner does it
