can anyone help please want to do wasted spark conversion on my 96 sti guessin it cant be that difficult but anyone got any info... cheers chris.

No not really, both type of coils produce about the same spark energy.

its cheaper to replace a coil pack rather than four coil on leads

And if spark energy was the be all and end all of ignition systems that might be a valid point. Life, however, is rarely that simple.
