Thumbs up Best Engine Oil?

I Know this has been asked time and time again, but just wanted a quick general opinion on the best oil to use in my Impreza....

I have a 2003 Blobeye WRX with 52K miles on the clock...

Roger Clarke Motorsport website seems to recommend Silkolene 10W/50 'Pro S' Ester Synthetic but what is the opinion of you guys? Any experience with this.... Is it the correct oil to use?

I use my car every day, but it is mostly used on short journeys really, road use only so I need the best oil for general all round use, to give most protection to the engine.

Cheers

subjective!! Loads of opinions, I use Millers, expensive but good by all accounts, valvoline is a better priced alternative, doesnt have the same badge appeal so most dont go for it but again a very good oil. well priced.
