Just wondered how long it should take a good garage to change headers and an up pipe on a classic shape turbo.

i should have thought no longer than 2 hours.i can do mine around that time at home so a garage with tools at hand should be able to.

 

Unless all the bolts holding the original heat shields are rusted (common !), and need cutting off. Same applies if the turbo to down pipe bolts have seized (common !). Oh, and if the manifold is being heat wrapped.

 

As Mark says, could be an easy job (under 2 hours) or a bitch of a job, however worst case don't expect to be charged more than 4 hours labour
