Hi All,

I am the proud new owner of a 2001 bug eye WRX wagon. Yee ha, impressed is not the word with terms of handling.

However, there seems to be a bit of hesitation in 3rd / 4th on WOT. Is this because the previous owner and the garage put 95 ron fuel in so may have retarded back the ignition?

If so should I disconnect the battery when i get to work and then reconnect when I leave so as to reset the EUC?

Also can I just get a remap or do i need other mods to accompany it.

Run a few tanks of 99 ron through and the ECU should re-learn and adjust accordingly, could be worth putting a bottle of injector cleaner through just clean things up.
