Default Oil Warning Light!!

I started my scoob this morning and the oil light stayed on. I flapped and turned engine off, waited 15mins ,checked oil and level was fine. Started scoob again ,light still on then went off after a couple of mins. Same thing happened in the evening. Any ideas?
Cheers

Check the Oil Pressure with a gauge to be 100% sure.
Quickest way is to remove the oil pressure switch and plumb a gauge into there ( 1/8 bsp thread ).
