Dump valve noise?

Dump valve noise?

I have 95 impreza with twin piston dump valve, i can hear the air building up/hissing noise when i put my foot on the gas. is this normal or do i have a problem?

You have an air leak somewhere check all the intercooler pipes you shouldn't hear any hissing

Or the valve in the dumpvalve has failed?
