Default Map Sensor settings for apexi PFC

Just fitted a 97 on map sensor but having to delay my map, does anyone know settings for the power fc untill i get my remap next month.

My car is 94 WRX and had standard map sensor fitted.

Are you asking if the PFC has any settings to allow different map sensors to be used? If so then no it doesn't.

Assuming the ecu isn't mapped for your car at all then be very careful about driving it. I would say don't bother at all.

IF the ECU is mapped for your old map sensor then limit the boost until your mapper gets their hands on it.

Wayne.

car is mapped but getting it tweaked.

Changed from standard map sensor to one out a later version to control more boost but after fitting it it has different scales to original.

All I'm basically lookingh for is someone that uses power fc to control boost with later map sensor to tell me what scale settings are.

Thanks anyway

from memory it will be reading around 0.4bar lower than the actual boost the car is running..

however as it doesn't go into closed loop control and use the target boost value until it reaches the set boost target.. and uses the duty to get there it will just be reading around 0.4bar lower and just not go into closed loop..

so if it were running 1bar and 40% then it should now run 0.6bar at 40% on the read out but actually 1bar if you see what I mean.

becareful the first time you use the loud pedal but it should have no effect for the immediate, monitor knock as usual etc..

Thats about right never makes more than about 6 psi (need to get new boost gauge in, with bar not psi) is there anyway to change it as it was running 1.1 bar before and pulled very nicely?

Its not driving the same at all, not getting same boost as monitoring that on my gauge, knock is being monitered by power fc which is higher with later (97 on) map sensor? Are wires colour coded? maybe i wired it in wrong just followed diaghram my mate gave me?
