Default rebuild

stripped and rebuilt engine, connected everything up but plugged fuel feed into evap and vice versa, sussed mistake after 10-20 turns, swapped hoses, then car started after 2nd turn. switched off when manifold started smoking, to let fuel in the manifold evaporate, but when i tried to fire it up again the next day, its not wanting to start
anybody know whats happened (apart from the dip****/hoses mistake)
