With an approriate remap, and supporting mods, a peak of 1.3 bar is not uncommon. It's only a little turbo, so cannot sustain it at high rpm though.

Be warned: if you just crank up the boost without appropriate fueling and ignition mapping, your engine will go long before the turbo will!

PS I noticed your other thread on oil. If you're going to modify the car, you'd be well advised to use a proper ester based fully synth oil like Silkolene Pro S.

Ask oilman on here for advice and a deal.

The 'uprated' oil pumps are just standard pumps with a modified pressure release valves, It was common for the release valve to fail after a long period of time. I would only change it if doing a rebuild. You could get an Oil pressure gauge to monitor the pressure this can normally indicate a faulty oil pump.

Also worth remembering the oil pumps have different flow rates and shim sizes.
