LOW BOOST
Hi i took my car for rolling road the other day and was pushing 215.3bhp which is ok but boost is 0.5 bar peak was advised to get boost gauge to check this so i fitted 1 today and it came up with the same 0.5 bar peak also a few people have said that it maybe in limp mode but can it do 120mph in limp mode cos i did it today so dont think its that also gonna try cleaning boost solenoid tomorrow as been told could also be this, Any other user had this problem? maybe you could help me thanks madforcars321

check the e clip is still fitted to wastegate holding actuator secure, also check you have the restrictor in the pipe from turbo compressor housing to t piece by wastegate actuator.
also worth a check for boost leaks.
failing that try an ecu reset and see what happens

if there is no restrictor fitted then you will only run 0.5-0.7 bar boost so i would say that is the cause of the probs.
try doing a search for restrictor there have been threads before about it that might give some info of where to get one
have a look at this thread it gives info on restrictor size and the subaru part numbers
