plug gapping/ misfire?

Default plug gapping/ misfire?

Changed my plugs on my 94 wrx to Ngk BKR6EIX. They should be fine right? Any how my car is chipped to run 1/1.1bar boost. Now after a quick drive, noticed, either a slight miss fire or its just a boost leak? The boost is only reaching 0.7 bar. I believe the plugs came pre gapped to 0.8m. Do I need to change the gapps on the plugs?

just gapped all of my plugs to 0.7mm, the idle is really lumpy now... also sounds like car is running on 2 cylinders.

Looking on the NGK site I think you may have put plugs in for a non turbo but I could be wrong...

Look here NGK Partfinder for Cars & Light Commercial Vehicles

I have the same problem but on 7's so I am going to try to regap them I'll let you know how it goes.

Yea agree with the above... PFR 6B for std UK turbo models

... For a modded WRX most people would suggest PFR 7Bs gapped to 0.7

Or denso IK22's

Nope just checked, I do actually have the pfr6b's in, but i gapped them to 0.7, which is a very small gap. And now I have a lumpy idle sounds a bit like a dragster lol.

more likely coilpacks are damaged and taking them in and out has made them worse... check the ends aren't cracked. 0.7mm is not too small but correct

The coil packs were inspected before put in again, all was well, they actually looked brand new So is the gapping the cause of lumpy idle, guess i'll have to live with it.
